Day 7 – New Jersey (Jersey Shore – Point Pleasant Beach)

Summer heat, sandy beach, crashing waves, the warm Atlantic Ocean and Jenkinson’s Boardwalk all made for a treat for the kids and good people watching. The waves were a bit rough for boogie boarding for the kids but, they still had a blast in the sand and surf. Having umbrellas gave us the shade we needed to spend a full day at the beach. The frozen custard at Kohr’s was a favorite tasty stop…TWICE! And, the rides were a hit with the kids. It was a fun day at the Jersey Shore…at Point Pleasant Beach. The only thing we forgot to do was drive by Snooki’s house in Seaside Heights and take a photo. Next time… HA!!

Thinking of the Jersey Shore. I took this pics just a few months ago at Point Pleasant and this boardwalk, the eateries and the rides are all gone. 😦

What great memories! That was our last time there as well. So fortunate to be there that day. It’s beautiful to witness the hearts and strength of Jersey and NY come together for eachother!
