Dripping icicles

Shutter Speed: 1/1000, Aperture: F3.5, ISO: 800

Straight out of the camera the icicles and drips didn't pop in this photo so I post-processed a bit in PSE9. I slightly increased the levels, saturation, sharpened the icicles, burned the drips then duplicated the layer with a high-pass filter of 1.0, set as an overlay layer. It's definitely not a traditional photo of toothy icicles all in a row. It kind've looks like a bird's talons, doesn't it? Well, vwallah! I got my icicle photo! 🙂

The good, the bad, the ugly...I can take it. Talk at me! :)
