365 Project – 85: Two soaring bald eagles in my backyard (March 25, 2013)

Born to soar…bald eagles in flight

I was washing dishes, looking out my kitchen window and just like yesterday, the bald eagles were soaring overhead. This time I was ready with my zoom lens on my camera so I ran outside and caught these shots. There were actually two in the sky but, not close enough together to get a good shot of both of them. My 200mm lens was on my camera since this morning I was HOPING to get a shot of an orca in our harbor, since four were sighted yesterday. Instead it’s been quite a birding day. More photos to be posted later. 🙂
