Celebrate the earth by taking care of this planet that feeds our hunger, quenches our thirst, and gives joy through playful dolphins, stunning sunsets, and colorful flowers. This dolphin played in the wake of our catamaran earlier this year on the Big Island in Hawaii. The sight of this dolphin reminds me how much I care about keeping our oceans clean for our creatures to swim, play and be part of our lives. Our planet takes care of us and it’s up to us to conserve, keep our waters clean and our soils healthy and free of toxins. How will you celebrate, show gratitude, and take care of our generous planet today…and every day? When we take care of our planet, we take care of ourselves. Love and light…

365 Project – 129: Fish frenzy with a dolphin too! – Captain Cook’s Monument, Hawaii (May 9, 2013)
For today’s Throwback Thursday pic I found this shot taken on the Big Island of Hawaii during a snorkeling trip at Captain Cook’s Monument. The cook had thrown some food scraps overboard and these fish, and even a spinner dolphin, charged in to grab a bite. I didn’t even notice the little spinner dolphin (top right) until I looked at the photo! 🙂

365 Project – 46: Kealakekua Bay – Big Island, Hawaii (February 15, 2013)
It’s Friday and no Jumble because I’m travelling. I’m still going through umpteen photos from a previous trip to the Big Island. Here’s another taken during a snorkel trip to Kealakekua Bay Hawaii. When my daughter wanted a break from snorkeling she used this boogie board with a built-in underwater viewer. Brilliant! Don’t you just want to dive in? Awww…it was heaven! 🙂
365 Project – 45: Snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay – Big Island, Hawaii (February 14, 2013)
No hearts, no candles, no chocolates and no kanoodling couples. No Valentine-y pic but, here’s a photo using my daughter’s Nikon Coolpix waterproof point and shoot, which is kind’ve sweet. This was taken on our last snorkeling trip on the Big Island. Not bad for a basic waterproof camera. Oh, and, Happy Valentine’s Day! 🙂
p.s. if you want to see some amazing underwater photos, check out this link with pics posted on the FairWind charter company, whom we used for our snorkeling trip. They’re awesome!
