365 Project – 57-63: On the Sarapiqui River with iguanas, crocodiles, and howler monkeys – Costa Rica (March 4, 2013)

57

Starting our tour with Costa Rica Fun Adventures on the Sarapiqui River

58

Spotting our first iguana from the river

59

Another iguana, that changed itself into this chartreuse color

60

Smiling, sleepy crocodile πŸ˜‰

61

Sighting our first family of howler monkeys high up in the trees. We heard them before we saw them. They’re loud!!!

62

Zooming into the previous photo and one of my only pics capturing the features of a howler monkey’s face. From the boat I zoomed in using my 50-200mm lens with my D7000.

63

To quote Nora: “This is better than the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland!” πŸ˜‰

Here’s a TripAdvisor link about the tour company we used, Costa Rica Fun Adventures

Loved the shots…The one looking out of the bow of the boat(that is the front right:)) is cool.
