365 Project – 166: Hollyhock (June 14, 2012)

Shutter Speed: 1/125, Aperture: F8, ISO:200

My first hollyhock flowers of the summer…finally! Just to experiment I took this photo using the FLOWER MODE on my D5000. Not so thrilled with this shot straight out of the camera. I definitely get  more vibrancy using Manual mode with the VIVID setting. At least now I know…and so do you! 🙂

Beautiful. We used to make a little doll out of those by turning the full bloom upside down and putting on the top

The good, the bad, the ugly...I can take it. Talk at me! :)
