365 Project – 113: A girl and her scooter :) (April 22, 2012)

Shutter Speed: 1/1600, Aperture: F/6.3, ISO: 400

A fellow photographer and blogger shared a tip to make our 365 Projects doable: “don’t approach it by feeling like you need to take a really good photo every day, instead, just photograph your day.” So, that’s what you have here. I didn’t even know if we’d get home in time for me to have the energy or light to take a photo outside but, tired after a long drive home, and while relaxing in a chaise lounge chair, Nora just kept circling around me on her scooter. (Oh, what I’d give to have her energy!) So, I thought “okay, this is my life right now, I’m gonna’ shoot it and post it.” There actually were some amazing scooter poses of her in tree pose, and doing scooter ballet or gymnastics, posing with one leg pointed behind her or way out to the side. They were so cool but, I didn’t have the energy to do more than take this photo. I’m exhausted but, I made this quick. Another photo of the day got posted. Whew!

Thanks Grayce! One of these days I will have to get a pic of her doing a yoga tree pose on her scooter. She just did it yesterday, so easily and gracefully. 🙂

The good, the bad, the ugly...I can take it. Talk at me! :)
