365 Project – 42: White sand and turquoise waters at Kailua Beach (February 11, 2012)

Shutter Speed: 1/125, Aperture: F16, ISO: 200

There’s a reason Kailua Beach Park claims to be one of the most beautiful beaches on Oahu. That first glance of the pristine sandy white sands and clear turquoise blue waters are just breathtaking. From Waikiki we took a detour to Kailua before hitting our North Shore destination. It’s definitely worth some beach time at Kailua Beach, and stop at Kalapawai Market for an “ono” deli sandwich or salad. 🙂
