Save some trees and just email your holiday card or pop it in the mail? It’s only a lukewarm debate in our household but, every year I feel less inclined to snail mail our cards. For me, it’s not so much about the trees I’m cutting down, or the costs of printing and mailing them, or the time it takes ME to make them. It’s actually wondering if seeing and holding that photo card is appreciated or if it’s just one more thing to toss in the trash or recycle bin. Without a doubt I know the grandparents post them on their refrigerators, or in my mom’s case, she stashes it in her purse to whip out when she finds an innocent victim to unleash her bragging rights to her granddaughter. She even carries around the full-size calendar we give her, cornering poor suckers who are polite enough to pretend to gush along with her, page after calendar page. Well, I digress… So, for this year, we’re still snailing it. What are you doing?
