Getting that photo of the fall colors [take 1]

Due to constantly changing weather conditions and a grumpy model (my poor daughter Nora, whom I hope does not become traumatized by my camera lens), I did not get the fall colors landscape shot I was hoping for but, we did get outside in the crisp, clean air for a family outing and I still captured some cute shots of Nora.

It was sunny when we left our house but, after the 10 min. drive to the Elwha River it started raining. And, as you can see…Nora’s not too happy about that:

On our way home, the sun came out again so we pulled over near the Port Angeles City Hall where there was a row of colorful maples and lots of leaves. Nora gives me some bright smiles!

And, back home…no sun but no rain. Nora loves climbing this boulder next to our neighbor’s maple tree. A lollipop, some “rock-climbing” and Nora was willing to at least look at the camera. Good enough!

The good, the bad, the ugly...I can take it. Talk at me! :)
