My hubby took these pics of me playing outside in Port Townsend during a recent yoga retreat. Yoga is my happy place, whether I’m taking or teaching class. But, doing yoga outside (sans rain!) is the best!

I know I post a lot of sunset photos but, I find them stunning and I’m fortunate enough to have a decent sunset view from our house. I took this the other night when the sun burst through the clouds with fiery oranges and pinks. This photo doesn’t really do justice to how magnificent the sunset really was, but, you can at least see how it lit the whole sky on fire.

Today’s Throwback Thursday pic is of a beach in Coronado, Panama where the neighbors were setting off a huge fireworks display during a wedding reception. This blurry photo looks like a watercolor painting to me and I like how the fireworks tinted the beach and ocean pink and made the palm tree look almost neon green.

I’m a sucker for a runny egg yolk. This is my typical breakfast, two slices of Udi’s gluten-free toast topped with local farm fresh sunny side up eggs, sprinkled with tumeric (more for the anti-inflammatory properties than for flavor.) But, for some, runny egg yolks are disgusting. Are you a fan of that rich, golden, runny yolk? Yum or yuk??

First course for my Mother’s Day brunch at Cafe’ Flora in Seattle was this Citrus Napoleon served with a coconut chantilly cream and berry sauce. My whole fixed brunch menu was gluten-free. Hot yoga in the morning, brunch with my family, and an afternoon to relax. It’s been a lovely day for this content mama! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE!!
